Chemist / Officer - Quality Control

As a Quality Control Department member at Actylis, your role involves ensuring laboratory compliance with internal standards and procedures. You will be responsible for analyzing Raw Materials (RM), Finished Goods (FG), Packaging Materials (PM), Purified water, In-process samples, and stability samples. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned by your reporting manager. Key Responsibilities: - Fill up the sampling checklist as per guidelines and forward it to the Assistant Manager for review and approval. - Prepare and standardize volumetric standard solutions, maintaining consumption records. - Extract samples from production or processing areas based on guidelines defined in the Sampling Checklist. - Conduct sample testing based on Sample Analysis Report. - Perform sampling tests as per Test Intimation sheet, fill up the sheet, and attach supporting documents of testing and instrument reports after completion of QC testing. - Prepare working standards and carry out sample analysis as per Method of Analysis. - Operate and calibrate various laboratory instruments such as pH meter, Refractometer, KF, MP, Tap density meter, sieve shaker, Auto titrator, weighing balance, oven/muffle furnace, Halogen moisture analyzer, and Distillation apparatus. - Maintain records including consumption, humidity, and all instrument log books. - Prepare standard solutions, indicators, and reagent solutions.
