Officer- Microbiology

As an Officer-Microbiology at Actylis in Ahmedabad, your role involves performing sampling and analysis of finished products, monitoring and recording day-to-day activities as per GDP guidelines, and ensuring clean, hygienic, and safe work environment. You will be responsible for microbial testing in accordance with USP, EP, IP, or customer guidelines, as well as participating in required inspection and monitoring programs. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure calibration and maintain microbiology lab equipment - Perform microbial testing in accordance with USP, EP, IP, or customer guidelines, including microbial parameters in water, product contact surface environmental monitoring, viable air monitoring, Microbial Limits Tests, and Pathogens/BET tests in raw materials and finished goods - Filing and documentation of reports as per standards - Responsible for a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment - Method validation for Microbial Limits Tests, pathogens, and BET for each individual product - Monitor and record day-to-day activity as per GDP guidelines - Involvement in Audit and NC compliance with record keeping - Report all unsafe conditions to your supervisor or safety committee promptly - Follow safe operating procedures and Material Safety Data (MSDS) guidance Qualifications Required: - BSc/MSc in Microbiology - 0 to 3 years of experience About Actylis: Actylis, a leading value-added global chemical supplier, specializes in specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients used across the pharmaceutical value chain.
