Chemical Engineering/ Materials Science or Electrochemistry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./ B.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Materials Science or Electrochemistry.  M.E./M.Tech/ M.Sc. or equivalent in Nanotechnology,  Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering (with specialization in catalysis, or Polymer Science)  or any other relevant  discipline. Ph.D./ Post-doctoral in Materials Science/Engineering, Electrochemistry, or Chemical Engineering, with specific demonstrable expertise in Fuel Cell Catalysts (PEM, SOFC, or DMFC), Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) fabrication, or Electrolyte development.  

Responsibility:

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 • Design, synthesis, and characterization of novel electrocatalysts and polymer electrolytes. .
• Manage the MEA fabrication, ensuring high-quality, reproducible membrane and electrode assemblies.                                                                                                                                                                              • • Lead research projects (or consultancy Testing) engage with industry partners to create real-world solutions. • Mentor Ph.D. and M.Tech. students, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking academic environment. • Deliver high-quality courses that inspire the next generation of engineers and researchers.

                                                                                                                                       Expected outcome ( 12 months) :

• Publish high-impact papers and increase citations.

Facilitate technology transfer to translate research into practical applications, and commercial opportunities. Spearhead interdisciplinary research initiatives, attracting grants, partnerships, and additional funding.
