Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef position for our cloud kitchen in Ganapathy, Coimbatore. The Chef will take over the majority of meal preparation, ensuring dishes meet high standards of taste and presentation. Responsibilities include cooking nutritious meals and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Additional duties include managing kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality to align with HIL Foods' standards.

Qualifications

• Basic culinary skills with a strong interest in healthy cooking and meal preparation
• Understanding of general nutrition principles, dietary needs, and common health-focused meal styles
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and assist in simple menu planning for diet-based meal options
• Willingness to learn kitchen operations, including basic inventory handling and maintaining cleanliness
• Good attention to detail, creativity, and enthusiasm for preparing nutritious, balanced meals
• Any relevant coursework, training, or certificates in culinary arts or food safety is a bonus
• Prior exposure to cooking diet-friendly or health-focused meals—home cooking or internship experience is acceptable
