Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie, continental at Sachika Hotels Guwahati. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, assisting the Head Chef in planning menus, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained, managing and training kitchen staff, and overseeing the operations of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Daily tasks also include maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring the efficient running of the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in preparing and presenting continental cuisine
• Skills in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong leadership and training skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Formal culinary training or certification is advantageous
• Minimum 5 yrs of experience in continental range
