As an Application Chef at Bayfield Food Ingredients, you will be a key member of the dynamic culinary development team, responsible for showcasing the versatility and value of Bayfield's high-quality food ingredients through innovative and delicious applications across various food categories. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and demonstrate various Fusion foods, beverages, and bakery ingredients utilizing Bayfield's ingredients, including but not limited to: - Savory dishes such as soups, sauces, marinades, and glazes. - Culinary products like Arabic, Broasted, fried, and Korean Curries. - Innovative beverage solutions. - Baked and grilled products. - Dairy-based products like yogurt and ice cream. - Conduct culinary trials and experiments to evaluate the performance and sensory attributes of Bayfield's ingredients in different applications. - Conduct trials at customer locations and provide training to customers. - Create detailed recipes with ingredient lists, cooking instructions, and sensory evaluations. - Prepare and present food samples to internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and marketing departments. - Collaborate with food scientists, marketing professionals, and sales representatives to develop new product ideas and market positioning strategies. - Stay updated on current culinary trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the culinary lab. - Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer demonstrations. **Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field preferred. - Experience: 3 to 6 years of professional culinary experience in a relevant setting (e.g., restaurant, food manufacturing, culinary school). - Proven experience in recipe development and food product formulation. - Skills: Strong culinary skills in baking, cooking, and food preparation techniques. Excellent understanding of food science principles and ingredient functionality. Creative and innovative thinking with a strong passion for food. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Preferred: Experience working with food ingredients and/or in a food manufacturing environment. Knowledge of sensory evaluation techniques.,
