Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and versatile Chef for our café who can prepare a variety of items including English breakfast, Irani chai, veg/chicken samosas, pizza, cold coffee, and continental dishes. The ideal candidate should be creative, hygienic, and able to manage café-style cooking independently. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of café items including: English breakfast (eggs, toast, sausages, baked beans, etc.) Irani chai and regular tea/coffee Veg and chicken samosas Freshly made pizza (basic to continental style) Cold coffee, milkshakes, and mocktails Continental snacks and light meals Ensure food is prepared hygienically and tastes consistently great. Handle kitchen operations independently, including preparation, cooking, and plating. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow food safety standards, and manage stock. Collaborate with café staff and take customer preferences into account. Innovate and suggest new items to update the menu based on trends and feedback. Requirements: Proven experience in a café, restaurant, or hotel kitchen. Ability to cook a wide range of items from English and continental menus. Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety. Time management and multitasking skills. Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure during peak hours. Preferred: Candidates with experience in casual dining cafés, bakeries, or coffee shops. Basic knowledge of costing and menu planning is an added advantage.
