Chartered Accountant

You are seeking a Finance & Audit Head based in Chennai with a salary range of 12 to 16 LPA. As a CA with over 10 years of experience in Finance & Audit, you will be responsible for various key functions as listed below: Key Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting & Compliance - Prepare and finalize financial statements following Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS). - Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts. - Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors for audits. - Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, and Income Tax filings. - Finance Operations - Supervise and guide the finance team in processing transactions accurately and on time. - Establish internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial integrity. - Taxation - Oversee tax assessments, audits, and communication with consultants and regulatory bodies. - ERP & System Management - Manage Tally Prime ERP for accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. - Ensure accurate data management and transaction recording within the ERP system. - Audit & Risk Management - Develop internal audit processes to monitor financial transactions and controls. - Prepare audit schedules, ensure data availability, and implement recommendations. - Identify financial and operational risks, suggesting mitigation strategies. - Strategic Support - Offer financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making. - Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Qualification Required: - Strong knowledge of IND AS, Income Tax, GST, and TDS regulations. - Proficiency in Tally Prime ERP and MS Excel. - Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills. - Leadership skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. - Experience in audits, internal controls, and risk management.
