We are a fast-growing American e-commerce brand specializing in organic spices and herbs, selling across the US and Australian markets. Our mission is to make high-quality, USDA-certified organic goods accessible to everyone. We are building a finance backbone to support rapid global expansion and are looking for a Chartered Accountant who can not only manage numbers but also think strategically about cash flow, compliance, and cross-border operations.
Compensation (Please Read Before Applying)
3,00,000 - 6,00,000 per annum (fixed)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain
cash flow forecasts (weekly/quarterly)
and track free cash flow. - Build and manage
financial models
in Excel for decision-making (new launches, funding cycles, working capital). - Analyze
cash-flow impacts of new product launches
across 40+ SKUs. - Manage
day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and MIS reporting
. - Support
cross-border financial structuring
between India, US, and Australia (intercompany transfers, taxation, DTAA research). - Ensure compliance with Indian taxation (GST, Income Tax, TDS) and coordinate with overseas accountants for AU/US compliance.
- Assist in setting up
internal controls and SOPs
for payments, credit lines, and vendor financing. Be hands-on with daily finance operations
: vendor payments, reconciliations, purchase orders, invoice processing, and other transactional activities.- Be willing to
use Xero
for all accounts record keeping.
Core Competencies
Chartered Accountant (CA)
must be fully qualified (CA Inter candidates will not be considered). - Strong foundation in
financial reporting, taxation, and compliance
. - Proven ability to work with
cash flow cycles and free cash flow analysis
. - Excellent
Excel/financial modeling skills
(cash flow models, projections, scenario analysis). - Understanding (or willingness to quickly learn)
cross-border taxation and fund flows
(USAUIN). - Comfortable working independently, with ownership and accountability.
Requirements
- CA qualified (must have cleared CA Final).
- 1–5 years of post-qualification experience (open to strong fresh CAs as well).
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Xero/QuickBooks/Tally is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication skills (ability to explain financial concepts clearly).
- Must be willing to research and learn
international tax frameworks
as part of the role.
Preferred Background (Added Advantage)
- Experience in
FMCG, e-commerce, or industries with a high volume of transactions

international taxation and compliance

cross-border operations and reporting frameworks
