Job Description

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Handle all aspects of cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Utilize cost performance tools to monitor and improve financial performance.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory reports.
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and cost management.
Proficiency in cost performance tools and techniques.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
In-depth knowledge of the Indian tax system, including direct and indirect taxes.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in IT industry.
Knowledge of international taxation and transfer pricing.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
