Chartered Accountant

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure smooth functioning of the finance department.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax planning and filings.
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and other financial activities to optimize financial performance.
• Evaluate financial performance, identify risks, and implement effective risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with department heads to monitor budget compliance and help improve financial performance across departments.
• Lead the preparation of annual audits and liaise with auditors.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Provide financial guidance and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage financial models for various business scenarios.
• Stay current with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that could impact financial planning

Preferred candidate profile:

• Qualifications:

  Chartered Accountant (CA) or International Financial Certified Accountant (IFCA)

• Experience:

  Background in auditing and financial reporting preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
• Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting tools, and ERP systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
