Job Description – Chartered Accountant (GST Compliance)

Location: Mulund, Mumbai

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to independently

manage GST compliance for a portfolio of 15–20 clients. The role requires thorough

knowledge of GST provisions, return filing mechanisms, and the ability to manage end-

to-end compliance with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9

and GSTR-9C

• Review client data and ensure timely compliance with statutory due dates
• Analyse discrepancies between books of accounts and GST portal data
• Reconciliation of GSTR-2B / 2A and ITC-ledger with client records
• Respond to departmental queries, notices, and communications
• Provide advisory on GST applicability, eligibility of ITC, and other compliance

requirements

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and client-wise compliance records

Required Skills & Competencies

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong command over GST laws
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in GST compliance preferred
• Ability to independently handle 15–20 clients simultaneously
• Good understanding of GST litigation framework will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel, accounting software and GST portal operations
• Effective communication skills for client coordination

Employment Type

Full-Time — Work-from-office (Mulund)

Remuneration

Commensurate with qualification and experience.

Salary: 55k to 70k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
