Job Description – Chartered Accountant (GST Compliance) Location: Mulund, Mumbai Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to independently manage GST compliance for a portfolio of 15–20 clients. The role requires thorough knowledge of GST provisions, return filing mechanisms, and the ability to manage end- to-end compliance with accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Independently prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C Review client data and ensure timely compliance with statutory due dates Analyse discrepancies between books of accounts and GST portal data Reconciliation of GSTR-2B / 2A and ITC-ledger with client records Respond to departmental queries, notices, and communications Provide advisory on GST applicability, eligibility of ITC, and other compliance requirements Maintain comprehensive documentation and client-wise compliance records Required Skills & Competencies Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong command over GST laws Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in GST compliance preferred Ability to independently handle 15–20 clients simultaneously Good understanding of GST litigation framework will be an added advantage Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in Excel, accounting software and GST portal operations Effective communication skills for client coordination Employment Type Full-Time — Work-from-office (Mulund) Remuneration Commensurate with qualification and experience.
