Character Designer Intern

Responsibilities:

1. Creating high-quality 2D semi-realistic character designs based on given scripts, references, and creative direction.

2. Developing multiple character angles, poses, and expressions and lip-syncing to support animation and storytelling.

3. Rigging characters in Adobe Animate (Flash) for smooth and flexible animation.

4. Collaborating with scriptwriters, storyboard artists, and animators to ensure character consistency throughout the animation.

5. Revising and refining characters and rigs based on feedback from the creative team.

6. Ensuring proper file organization and delivering editable FLA files.

7. Maintaining originality while also incorporating Indian cultural elements and diverse visual styles when required.

8. Meeting project deadlines and maintaining a high standard of visual quality.

9. Actively participating in creative discussions and brainstorming sessions for character development and visual storytelling

Requirements:

1. Strong portfolio showcasing semi-realistic character designs.

2. Basic understanding of lip-syncing and facial expressions for animated storytelling.

3. Ability to take feedback positively and make timely revisions.

4. Strong sense of visual storytelling and character personality through design.

5. Knowledge of Indian cultural elements, costumes, and settings is a plus.

6. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with creative teams.
