Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end IT change management process, ensuring compliance with ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
  • Review changes, assess risk, and coordinate CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings for approvals.
  • Act as a bridge between IT, business units, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration in change execution.
  • Analyze the potential impact of IT changes on business operations and identify risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of change requests, approvals, rollbacks, and outcomes. Generate regular reports on change success rates and trends.
  • Continuously refine and optimize change management policies, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure changes do not negatively impact IT services and resolve issues related to failed changes.
  • Educate teams on change management best practices, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Follow applicable regulatory driven processes and enforce compliance within the organization.
  • Influencing without authority - Influences a significant part of the IT organization.
  • Develops influential relationships with internal and external clients/suppliers/partners at senior management level.
  • Makes decisions which impact the work of Stryker organizations, achievement of organizational objectives and financial performance.
  • Make sure technical change management is an integral part of how we deploy changes to production and how we sustain a world class computing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    10+ years in IT change management, IT service management (ITSM), or related roles.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    ITIL Foundation, Change Management Certification, PMP (a plus).
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving:

    Ability to assess risks and troubleshoot issues related to IT changes.
