Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the training center.
  • Ensure that all training activities are conducted as per JSDM guidelines and standards.
  • Monitor classroom schedules, trainer performance, and trainee engagement.

2. Training Coordination

  • Ensure trainers follow the prescribed curriculum and session plans.
  • Maintain training quality through regular monitoring and feedback.
  • Coordinate assessments, practical sessions, and remedial classes.

3. Candidate Management

  • Supervise trainee registration, counselling, attendance, and batch formation.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of trainee data in JSDM portals (e.g., TRAFFIC).
  • Track candidate progression from enrollment to certification and placement.

4. Staff Supervision & Team Leadership

  • Manage trainers, mobilizers, placement coordinators, and support staff.
  • Assign responsibilities, set targets, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct staff meetings, provide guidance, and ensure discipline.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all records (attendance, assessments, MIS reports, training logs) are properly maintained.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the project team.
  • Support audits and inspections by JSDM or the parent organization.

6. Mobilization & Community Engagement

  • Oversee mobilization activities to ensure timely batch formation.
  • Coordinate with local communities, institutions, and stakeholders to increase enrollment.

7. Placement Coordination

  • Work with the placement team to ensure job linkages for certified candidates.
  • Track post-placement retention as per JSDM norms.
  • Build employer relationships for job opportunities.

8. Infrastructure & Resource Management

  • Ensure the center is well-maintained, with updated equipment, tools, and training materials.
  • Monitor attendance of staff, functionality of machines, and availability of consumables.

9. Communication & Reporting

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the center and the head office.
  • Handle communications, escalations, and updates related to training and placement.

10. Compliance with JSDM SOPs

  • Ensure all activities follow JSDM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain transparency, discipline, and quality in all center operations.
