Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Continental dishes, pizzas, and pastas according to restaurant standards.
Oversee mise-en-place for the section, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for service.
Supervise and train Commis chefs to ensure consistent production and smooth kitchen operations.
Develop new dishes and contribute ideas for menu improvement and specials.
Ensure portion control, taste, and presentation consistency across all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (FSSAI).
Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and assist in ordering raw materials for the section.
Coordinate with service and other kitchen teams for smooth operations during service hours.
Adhere to all company policies, health, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent (preffered).
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (Continental / Pizza & Pasta section).
Sound knowledge of Italian sauces, pizza dough fermentation, and pasta preparation (fresh & dry).
Good understanding of modern plating and presentation techniques.
Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency during peak hours.
Preferred Experience:
Background in upscale casual or fine-dining restaurants.
