Job Description

2. Technical Skills Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems (IP & analog). Knowledge of DVRs, NVRs, cameras, monitors, and network cabling. Ability to set up remote viewing systems via mobile or PC. Familiarity with structured cabling, power supplies, and backup systems. Basic knowledge of networking (IP address, routers, ports, etc.). 3. Experience 1–3 years of experience in CCTV or electronic security systems installation and maintenance (entry-level roles may require less). Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings. Soft SkillsProblem- solving skills for diagnosing and resolving faults. Time management and ability to work independently. Clear communication skills for reporting and client interaction. Attention to detail and precision during installation. 6. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license (often required for site visits). Willingness to travel to client locations or job sites. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed. Understanding of local safety codes and industry regulations. 7. Preferred Certifications (Optional)CompTIA Network+ or equivalent (for networked CCTV systems). Vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Hikvision Certified Security Associate).
