CCTV Engineer

As a Security Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing service and installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other security-related systems. Your duties will include evaluating, diagnosing, troubleshooting systems, and performing necessary repairs. Additionally, you will be required to perform upgrades and additions to systems to enhance functionality and usability. Key Responsibilities: - Perform computer program entry to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed - Coordinate with administration and other trades to efficiently complete projects and work orders - Inform personnel about work order procedures and status to ensure necessary information is provided for decision-making and compliance with health and safety regulations - Prepare documentation in written and electronic formats to support compliance with regulations and convey information - Assist other trades personnel as necessary to support them in completing their work activities Qualifications Required: - Intermediate knowledge of computer, networks, and information technology systems - Intermediate knowledge of structured cabling - Ability to select the proper type of cable and perform installations in plenum or non-plenum rated environments - Effective communication, interpersonal, organization, and planning skills - Must have at least 1 year of experience in CCTV (IP & Analog Based) Technology As a Security Systems Technician, you will be expected to maintain an established work schedule, which may include some evenings and weekends. You should be able to communicate in a concise and effective manner, understand and follow instructions precisely, and possess the required skills to perform the essential functions of the job.,
