CCTV Control Room Operator

CCTV Monitor - Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring:

Continuously observe and analyze footage from multiple CCTV cameras to detect any unusual or suspicious activity.

• Incident Reporting:

Document and report any incidents, security breaches, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel, such as security or management.

• Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure that all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly, including cameras, recording devices, and other security systems.

• Safety and Security:

Identify potential safety hazards and report them promptly to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.

• Communication:

Effectively communicate with security personnel, hotel staff, and potentially law enforcement during emergencies or when security breaches occur.

• Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all surveillance activities, including incident reports and equipment maintenance logs.

• Following Protocols:

Adhere to established security protocols and procedures, including those related to VIP visits and emergency situations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to Detail: Keen observational skills and the ability to identify subtle details in video footage.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of CCTV systems and troubleshooting.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and write detailed incident reports.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make quick and informed decisions in emergency situations.
• Stress Management: Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations.
• Experience: Previous experience in security or surveillance is often preferred.
