Job Description

As a CCAR CFO Attestation Control Testing role at Barclays, your core responsibility will be to execute design assessment and operating effectiveness testing of controls in accordance with testing plans. You will ensure alignment with relevant policies, procedures, and quality standards to provide assurance to Management that the processes and controls within the reviewed Business Unit are effectively designed and operating to mitigate identified risks. Key Responsibilities: - Execute design assessment and operating effectiveness testing of controls according to testing plans - Ensure alignment with relevant policies, procedures, and quality standards - Provide assurance to Management on the effectiveness of processes and controls - Mitigate identified risks by ensuring controls are effectively designed and operating Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered accountant with articleship experience in a reputed firm / MBA Finance with relevant work experience - Understanding of SOx and Risk Management practices, including Internal Audit - Ability to communicate internal control concepts clearly in a business context - Proficient in interpreting, analyzing, and deriving logical conclusions on data patterns - Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders Barclays is committed to creating the future and anticipates it with proactive measures. The role is based in the Chennai office. In this role, you will collaborate across the bank to maintain a robust and efficient control environment. You will develop detailed test plans and procedures to identify weaknesses in internal controls and communicate key findings and observations to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of a knowledge center for documentation and training purposes. As an Analyst, you are expected to perform activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, driving continuous improvement. You will lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and coordinating resources. If in a leadership position, you are expected to demonstrate leadership behaviours. For individual contributors, you will develop technical expertise and act as an advisor where appropriate. You will have an impact on related teams within the area and partner with other functions and business areas.
