Cath Lab Technician

• Patient preparation: Obtain medical history, ensure the patient is comfortable, and prepare them for the procedure by explaining the process.
• Procedure assistance: Work alongside the cardiologist and other healthcare professionals, prepare and maintain a sterile field, and assist with handling instruments and medications during the procedure.
• Equipment operation: Set up and operate specialized equipment, such as cardiac monitors, imaging devices (like fluoroscopy), and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Patient monitoring: Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs, including electrocardiograms (EKG), blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, and report any abnormalities to the physician.
• Safety and documentation: Ensure patient safety throughout the procedure, document all procedure details accurately, and maintain an inventory of supplies.
• Emergency response: Assist in emergency procedures like angioplasty or stent placement if needed.

Essential skills and knowledge

• Detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
• Proficiency in using specialized medical equipment.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to monitor patient status and respond to changes during a procedure.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with image-guided procedures like angioplasty and stent placement is a plus.
• Experience with EKG and other diagnostic tests is often required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
