Category Buyer - Billable Services

In this role at SAP, you will be a Category Buyer for Billable Services within the Global Procurement Organization. Your main focus will be on managing the procurement of third-party services for customer projects. Reporting directly to the Vice President Service Procurement, you will play a critical role in implementing and executing the category strategy, including stakeholder management, demand management, and acting as a procurement leader and trusted business partner for Line of Business representatives. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Category Manager in implementing and executing the category strategy - Manage procurement of third-party services for customer projects - Conduct Stakeholder Management including Demand Management - Act as a procurement leader & trusted business partner for Line of Business representatives - Coordinate and execute key strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations - Manage professional supplier relationship to ensure high-quality service delivery - Represent procurement in interactions with executives in service sales and delivery on a regular basis Qualifications Required: - Strong Procurement background - Experience in internal business partnerships and supplier management - Strategic mindset with the ability to have a direct impact on revenue - Excellent communication and negotiation skills About the team: The Billable Services team at SAP's Global Procurement Organization defines and executes global sourcing strategies for third-party procurement required to bid and deliver customer projects.
