About the Role:

Saraswati Group of Colleges is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to manage daily cash transactions, maintain financial records, and ensure smooth functioning of the accounts desk. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in handling institutional or corporate cash management and a keen sense of financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash inflow and outflow with complete accuracy and accountability.
• Maintain proper documentation and update ledgers for all cash and cheque transactions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cash reports and reconcile cash balances with accounts department.
• Coordinate with the Accounts and Admin teams for fund requests and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with institutional financial policies and audit requirements.
• Handle student fee payments, issue receipts, and maintain transaction records.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduate (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in cash handling or accounting operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting software (Tally knowledge preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, and integrity in handling institutional funds.
