We're seeking a detail-oriented Cashier cum Accountant to handle daily cash transactions, maintain financial records, and support accounting tasks in our [office/retail/store] environment.
Responsibilities
Cashier Duties
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and online payments accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer transactions with a friendly and professional approach.
- Manage cash register, ensure adequate change, and balance cash drawer daily.
- Issue receipts, provide transaction-related information, and address customer queries.
- Secure cash and sensitive financial information; report discrepancies immediately.
Accounting Duties
- Maintain and update daily financial records, including sales, receipts, and payments.
- Record and reconcile cash and bank transactions in the accounting software.
- Assist in accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
- Support monthly financial reconciliations, audit preparations, and statutory compliance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
