Job Description

Job Overview
a) Sales Accounting

Export Billing (CASS & Non-CASS Agent) Processing, Quality Check, and Accounting as per station timeline.
Apply various business rules for correct rating of AWB in system.
Apply various exceptions in system for invoicing customers at various stations across the network.
Correspond with relevant airways staff to resolve queries related to cargo documents. Draft and send emails to clients regarding pending queries with concerned authorities until final closure.
Charter AWBs Accounting & maintaining the track records of Charter AWBs. Reconciliation.
Handle US CNS & DMS Application regarding corrections or adjustments.

b) AWB Audit

Analyze various fields on AWB against data captured in airline cargo operation & revenue accounting system.
Apply various business rules for correct rating of AWB in system.
Apply various exceptions in system for invoicing customers at various stations across the network.
Apply correct rates on AWB (Standard tariff, Contract tariff, Adhoc rates).

2. Interline Accounting

Handling of interline invoices prime billing.
Handling other airline rejections.
Handling correspondence with airlines/stations.
Knowledge of SIS (Simplified Invoicing and Settlement).
Handling trucking invoices.
Knowledge of SPA (Special Prorate Agreement).

3. Mail Accounting

Knowledge of processing postal documents (CN38/AV7).
Handling postal billing invoice settlement.
Handling queries and interaction with postal authorities.
Send billing invoices to appropriate postal authorities and interline partners.
