Career Counselor

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Career Assessments

• Administer and interpret aptitude, interest, personality, and skill tests.
• Use results to help clients make informed decisions.

2. Offer One-on-One Counselling

• Understand individual client goals, strengths, and concerns.
• Provide tailored advice based on educational and career aspirations.

3. Guide on Educational and Career Options

• Inform clients about various career paths, courses, colleges, and universities.
• Help students or professionals explore suitable industries and job roles.

4. Assist with Career Planning

• Help clients set realistic short-term and long-term goals.
• Develop step-by-step plans to achieve career objectives.

5. Support with Job Readiness

• Assist in resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Teach soft skills such as communication, time management, and networking.

6. Conduct Group Sessions and Workshops

• Organize seminars in schools, colleges, or corporate settings.
• Promote career awareness and planning among larger audiences.

7. Keep Updated with Market Trends

• Stay informed about emerging careers, skill demands, and labor market shifts.
• Guide clients accordingly to remain competitive.

8. Build a Resource Network

• Collaborate with educational institutions, training centers, and employers.
• Provide referrals for courses, internships, or job opportunities.

9. Maintain Records and Documentation

• Keep detailed records of client interactions, assessments, and progress.
• Ensure data privacy and confidentiality at all times.

10. Encourage Personal Growth
