Job Title: Career Counselor – (EdTech) Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time | Sunday to Saturaday with Monday off | 9:30 AM – 7 PM Industry: EdTech / Education Technology Job Summary: We are hiring a full-time, student-focused Career Counselor to join our growing EdTech team in Hyderabad. This is a non-sales role focused entirely on guiding students in their academic and career journeys. Key Responsibilities: Conduct personalized 1-on-1 career counseling sessions with students (Grades 9–12, UG aspirants, or test prep learners). Help students plan educational pathways, exam strategies (SAT, NEET, CUET, JEE, etc.), and higher education goals. Use EdTech tools and LMS platforms to track progress, flag academic concerns, and recommend timely interventions. Assist students in profile-building activities like course selection, project planning, and extracurricular mapping. Work closely with parents to align academic decisions and provide regular progress updates. Conduct webinars/workshops on career trends, entrance exams, and skill development. Maintain student records and counseling reports using CRM/LMS systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or related field. 1–4 years of experience in student counseling, career advising, or academic mentoring (preferably in EdTech or educational services). Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written). Additional fluency in Hindi/Telugu is a plus. Strong digital literacy—comfortable using Zoom, Google Workspace, learning portals, and CRM systems. Empathetic, patient, and passionate about student outcomes.
