Care Taker

Job Summary:

The Caretaker of the Food Production Unit is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and basic operational upkeep of the production facility, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and smooth day-to-day functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of production areas, storage rooms, and common areas
• Monitor daily opening and closing of the production unit
• Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per food safety norms
• Support production staff by maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure availability of cleaning materials and basic supplies
• Monitor water supply, electricity, gas, and basic utilities
• Report equipment faults, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately
• Ensure pest control and sanitation schedules are followed
• Assist in maintaining FSSAI and internal hygiene standards
• Ensure safety protocols and emergency procedures are followed
• Maintain discipline and support smooth operations

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience as security /Floor manager
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and supervisory tasks
• Responsible, alert, and reliable
• Ability to follow instructions and report issues promptly

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of FSSAI hygiene standards
• Basic maintenance knowledge (water, electrical, gas safety)
