Cardiac Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Procedures
• Perform ECG, TMT, Holter Monitoring, and other non-invasive cardiac tests.
• Assist in Echo procedures as required.
• Prepare patients before tests and ensure proper positioning and monitoring.
• Cath Lab Support (if assigned)
• Assist during angiogram, angioplasty, pacemaker, and other interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterility and support scrub nurse/technologist when required.
• Handle equipment and ensure proper functioning before procedures.
• Patient Care
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Monitor vital signs during tests and report abnormalities immediately.
• Equipment Handling
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment.
• Report any technical issues to the biomedical department promptly.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate test reports and update patient records.
• Assist in preparing data for cardiologists’ review.
• Follow hospital protocols for documentation and data confidentiality.
• Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth workflow.
• Inform patients about test schedules and results availability.
• Maintain professional communication with patients and colleagues.
• Compliance & Safety
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all hospital policies, dress code, and attendance guidelines.
• Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc Cardiac Technology / Diploma in Cardiac Technology
• Knowledge of ECG, TMT, Holter, Echo basics
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
• Ability to work in rotational duties (ICCU, IMCU, Echo, Cath Lab as needed)
• Quick learner with attention to detail
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
