Role Overview: As a member of the Fraud Strategy team at JPMorgan Chase, you play a crucial role in ensuring the company's strength and resilience. Your expertise is essential in identifying and addressing new and emerging risks to support responsible business growth. In this role, you will need to think creatively, challenge conventional practices, and aim for excellence in all your endeavors. Key Responsibilities: - Acquire in-depth knowledge of suspicious fraud behaviors to develop targeted analytics for identifying fraudulent profiles. - Implement a disciplined approach to testing, project execution, and the development of robust tracking and performance monitoring capabilities. - Communicate effectively with partner teams at all levels, presenting strategies for approval and gaining executive support. - Identify and escalate potential risks that could lead to inadequate fraud controls and losses. - Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives outlined by the business and Fraud Strategy leadership. - Analyze current and historical data to ensure fraud systems and processes are up to date. - Conduct regular reviews of high fraud losses cases to identify gaps in fraud strategy and make necessary procedural adjustments. - Perform ad hoc analytics and contribute to various projects on behalf of Risk Management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Risk Management or a similar quantitative role. - Ability to collaborate across organizations independently and influence to deliver new capabilities. - Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with risk analytic techniques. - Proficiency in conducting analytics using SAS or equivalent tools, querying large datasets using SQL, and translating raw data into actionable insights. - Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
