Captain Waiter

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Captain Waiter role located in Chennai. The Captain Waiter will oversee daily operations in the cafe, ensure excellent customer service, manage table assignments, and supervise junior staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Other responsibilities include taking and managing orders, coordinating with kitchen staff for prompt service, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas. The role also involves assisting and engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction and handling any concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Exceptional Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage with customers and address their needs.
• Experience in Food & Beverage service and Food Service, with knowledge of menu items and service standards.
• Basic Cooking skills to assist the kitchen team when needed and ensure continuous service quality.
• Strong organizational and leadership qualities with the ability to manage junior staff and maintain smooth service flow.
• Prior experience in a food service or hospitality role is an added advantage.
