Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Captain to lead and support our service team. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills to ensure a smooth dining experience and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations.
Greet guests, take reservations, and ensure timely table turnover.
Assign duties to service staff and ensure proper table setup and cleanliness.
Provide training and support to service team members.
Take food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.
Address guest concerns or complaints professionally and effectively.
Ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for smooth service flow.
Assist in inventory management and requisition of supplies.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a hotel or restaurant.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and guest handling abilities.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
