The role of Associate in the Capital Markets team is crucial as you will be responsible for conducting data analysis and providing insights to support business decisions. You will be tasked with collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources such as databases and spreadsheets. Preparing presentations and reports summarizing data findings for senior management will also be part of your role. Proactively identifying and addressing data quality issues, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives, are crucial aspects of the role. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Updating data-based information across various technology platforms for business leadership reports and dashboards, including Salesforce and SharePoint, will also be within your purview. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Ideally, you should have 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis or business analyst role, preferably within the financial services industry. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills are a must. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate complex data to technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is necessary, along with experience in data management and governance principles. Attention to detail and accuracy, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, are essential qualities for this role.
