Capital Harness Form board design, Work Instruction publisher and line balancer

Experience: 5-8 years

Location: Chennai / Bengaluru

Work Mode: WFO

Fulltime

Required Technical Skill Set

Strong understanding in wiring harness manufacturing process
Harness BOM management
Library creation in Form board
Good knowledge in understanding electrical automotive / locomotive schematics and wiring diagrams

Mandatory skills

Excellent knowledge in harness tools (
Capital Harness, Zuken)
, Automotive/locomotive harness assembly process, work experience in end-end harness manufacturing, Work experience in NX
Form Board Design, line balance, EBOM, MBOM
Good to have:
Knowledge in Product Development Process

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Understanding the manufacturing of harness process
Should be able to create library in Capital form board, creating form board drawings
Good understandings in schematics and harness drawings
Extracting and conversion of design EBOM to Manufacturing MBOM
Creation of Work instruction and SOPs
Release the 2D drawings in PLM system
Commonization the formboards
PFMEA preparation
ECN Management / implementation
Cross functional alignment and interactions
Quality checking
Interface management
Release the 2D drawings in PLM system
Proto / Manufacturing support
Identification of initial build issues
Root cause analysis and proposing corrective actions
Active participant in VAVE activities
