Responsibilities

1. Ensure On-Time release of PO & forecast to suppliers

2. Ensure timely receipt of project schedule / Gantt chart

3. Follow-up of Capex Equipment / OSS for ON-Time deliveries as per the Mutual agreed Gantt chart inline with the Need by dates for Program

4. Establishing an empanelled vendors for the repetitive customised requirements as per POC approval & OKR norms

5. Identify and develop Alternate vendors for Localisation of Imports

6. To Guide the vendors technically, if they are facing challenges during manufacturing / Debugging

7. Ensure conducting FAT with support of all CFT members from other Depts.

8. To ensure all supportive documents during delivery (Invoice, FAT closure - related to quality)

9. To Monitor the Open PO Progress with all the vendors and update the GRN status every day.

10. To Monitor and ensure Timely release of Payments to Vendors as per PO terms, following on Daily review of Payment with Finance.

11. To identify & Implement potential Cost reduction recommendations for Equipment developments and strive for Value Engg in all requirements.

Essential Attributes

Need a strong technical knowledge on mfg process, negotiation skills, communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management. They also need to be adept at cost analysis, and risk assessment along with possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering

Desired Experience Level

14-15 years for Diploma or 8-10 years for B.E / B.Tech
