Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in the Canada Accounting team, you will provide strategic and operational HR partnering to a group of managers across India. Your role will involve leading the development and implementation of HR solutions, change programmes, as well as people development and engagement activities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of junior staff, ensuring high-quality output. - Allocate resources effectively and ensure timely completion of deliverables. - Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met. - Address client queries and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high levels of satisfaction. - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems like QBO, Wave, Xero. - Experience in team handling of 3-4 members and reviewing their work. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, tools, and processes. - Knowledge of AR and AP processes, Journal entries, Prepaid and accruals. - Proficiency in email communication and management. In addition to the specific job requirements, the company values individuals who can meet deadlines, cope with pressure, demonstrate initiative, influence, and problem-solving skills. You should be friendly, able to converse with people at any level, and possess high sensitivity and awareness of working with people of many cultural backgrounds. Strong project management skills, particularly with respect to organization, prioritization, and time management, are essential.
