Campus Manager

Reports to Head of School(HOS)/ Head of operations
Role Purpose:A campus facilities manager is primarily responsible for the maintenance and smooth running of all infrastructure, civil and utilities related aspects of campus. His role will involve the following:1. Safety and Security2. Traffic management3. Utility management4. Preventive maintenance5. Civil work monitoring6. Transportation coordination7. OthersRoles & ResponsibilitiesSafety and security Entrance gates opening and closing every dayClassroom and office doors opening and closing every dayEnsure security/coordinators are at gate during entry and exit times and are swiping RFID for all pre-primary and G1 studentsSecurity staff alertness at all timesSecurity staff groomingVisitor management (records/tags checking)CCTV footage monitoring every dayAccompanying and monitoring labourers/repairmen on campus Traffic management Managing vehicular traffic outside the campus during a drop and pick up of children by parents (morning, noon and evening)Utility management Ensuring the following utilities are functioning smoothly every day:RO water filtersWater motor operation and tank level monitoringSTP monitoring and clearance, as and when requiredUPS/Generator switching on during power cutGarbage clearanceFumigation - twice every weekGas - LabFirst aidPreventive maintenanceEnsuring preventive maintenance for following is done periodically, with the help of AMC/vendors:Fire extinguishersUPS/GeneratorsRO water plantsWater motorsSTPIntercom linesTransformerLift serviceCivil work monitoring Reporting any civil/ maintenance issues to head office immediately on noticingIdentifying vendors (in coordination with head office) to execute the workCoordinating with vendors for any civil work that is required in the campus (eg. plumbing, electricity points repairs, tiles repair etc.)Escalate internally if work is not being carried out as per agreed timelines with vendors Transportation coordinationDaily timing tracking of all busesFalcon reports monitoring and discussion with bus drivers and attendants every dayDeparture process - queuing, timing, bus-child accuracy and ensuring no child is left behindBack up facilities when bus breakdown occursBus maintenance and repairEnsure daily cleaning of busesRandom bus route check once every weekTransportation route mapping once every yearOthers : - Arranging facilities for events/competitions - cleaning grounds/amphitheatre, arranging microphones/speakers/generators/projectors etc.Bank visits, as and when requiredAsset management - receiving assets, tagging assets, physical verification of all assets every quarter; identifying assets to be disposed of and ensuring appropriate disposal, after approvals.Ensure all assets being delivered to campus are received, checked for physical condition, stored/installed at the said location and DC signed off.Checklists:1.
