Calibration Technician

As a Calibration In-Charge / Regional Calibration Head, you will play a crucial role in overseeing calibration operations across multiple labs in the Ahmedabad region. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising calibration operations at 23 locations near Ahmedabad - Managing lab teams to ensure smooth workflow, turnaround time, and quality - Ensuring compliance with NABL, ISO/IEC 17025, and internal standards - Leading client audits and regulatory inspections - Maintaining and updating calibration procedures and records - Mentoring and training junior technicians and engineers - Handling customer escalations to ensure client satisfaction - Coordinating with procurement, logistics, and administration - Demonstrating proficiency in Calibration and Instrumentation skills - Possessing strong Laboratory Skills and experience with Test Equipment - Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) - Minimum 5 years of experience in calibration (industrial, lab, or third-party) - Strong understanding of NABL documentation and lab compliance - Leadership experience in managing a team or multi-location operations - Familiarity with instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Pressure Gauges, Multimeters, etc. - Excellent organizational and communication skills Additionally, this position offers a growth ladder within the company: - Calibration In-Charge (Year 1-2) - Leading 23 centers, supervising team, hands-on work + documentation - Regional Calibration Manager (Year 3-4) - Overseeing 5+ centers, team development, major client handling, audits - Head Quality & Operations (Year 5+) - Strategy, system improvement, leadership team, business expansion - Director Technical/Calibration Services - Business leadership, national-level operations, mentoring regional leads,
