Cafe Manager/Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience, managing staff, maintaining quality control, optimizing operations, and driving sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule café staff.
• Foster a positive team culture and motivate staff to meet performance and service goals.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Customer Service
• Ensure outstanding customer service and handle customer complaints efficiently.
• Monitor and respond to customer feedback and reviews.
• Operations Management
• Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Inventory & Supply Chain
• Manage inventory levels, place supply orders, and monitor stock usage.
• Build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Financial Management
• Monitor daily financials, including cash handling, sales reports, and budgeting.
• Assist in setting and achieving financial targets, including sales goals and cost control.
• Marketing & Promotion
• Implement promotional campaigns and local marketing strategies.
• Engage with the local community and manage social media presence (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Barista or culinary experience is a plus.
• Experience with inventory management and supplier negotiation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,548.57 - ₹40,000.00 per month
