We are looking for a passionate and skilled Product Design Engineer with strong proficiency in SolidWorks to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design of amphibious and underwater drone systems, from concept to production, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and ease of manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for amphibious and underwater drones using SolidWorks.

● Create 3D CAD models, detailed 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

● Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, and basic structural analysis.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams including electronics, embedded systems, hydrodynamics, and manufacturing.

● Participate in prototyping, testing, and refinement of product designs.

● Modify designs based on testing results, user feedback, and field performance.

● Ensure designs meet IP (Ingress Protection), thermal, and structural requirements for harsh environments.

● Coordinate with vendors and fabrication partners to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Mechatronics, or related field.

● 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical/product design.

● Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, and drawings.

● Good understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes (CNC, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.).

● Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

● Experience with drone systems or underwater vehicles is a plus.

● Knowledge of CFD or FEA tools (e.g., Ansys, SolidWorks Simulation).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
