Job Description

As an Industrial Trainee in Tax within the Global Reporting & Compliance team at Uber, you will play a crucial role in significant global projects, focusing on global tax and reporting assignments. Your primary purpose in this role is to gain practical experience in Uber's Global Compliance and Reporting practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting Global teams with reporting and tax compliance - Calculating Corporate Tax and staying informed about global tax reporting requirements - Assisting in Impairment Analysis, Valuation, or Financial modeling for restructuring-related analysis - Supporting global tax litigation - Contributing to tax policy decision-making by analyzing various tax structures to optimize cash tax outflow - Assisting in automation initiatives for tax and statutory reporting requirements To be eligible for this role, you should: - Have cleared CA Intermediate both groups and completed 12 to 18 months of articleship, preferably from Big 4s or other Top tier CA firms - Possess knowledge of Indian or Global Tax Regulations - Be proficient in MS Office and have excellent communication skills Additionally, it would be beneficial to have: - Exposure to Oracle ERP (desired but not mandatory) - Financial Modeling knowledge (good to have) You should also be eligible to register as an Industrial Trainee under the regulations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
