Buyer Site (Civil Contracts)

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing the Techno-Commercial strategy and plan for CPO/ BU/ Site. You will assist in the review of approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) from user departments and identify the type and method of procurement. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic sourcing for Capex, Opex, Bulk Material & Services by participating in activities such as vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract preparation and order placement. Furthermore, you will be involved in procurement through Rate Contracts, preparing master outline agreements, purchase orders, and supporting end-to-end procurement activities for common Capex and Opex items/ packages. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and implement the Techno-Commercial strategy and plan for CPO/ BU/ Site - Review and analyze approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) and identify the type and method of procurement - Contribute to strategic sourcing activities including vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract preparation - Prepare contract documents, set up approved contracts within the ERP system, and maintain contract records - Support end-to-end procurement activities for common Capex and Opex items/ packages - Prepare and circulate regular MIS and SLA reports, and manage inbound logistics services Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering (BE) preferably in Civil Engineering - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience - Minimum of 5 years" work experience in purchasing management, buying, or commodity management - Experience in working with eProcurement systems and tools such as SAP - Hands-on experience in executing contracts and entering into commercial transactions for Capital Goods of medium/large size - Knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement related systems, and supplier relationship management In this role, you will be required to have a methodical and precise approach towards commercial and contractual execution. Your knowledge of the purchasing process and experience in strategic sourcing will be key assets in successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.,
