Buyer Site (Civil Contracts)

As a Procurement Specialist in our company, your role will involve understanding the Techno-Commercial strategy and plan for CPO/ BU/ Site and implementing strategic initiatives as per the plan. You will also be responsible for reviewing approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) from user departments, identifying procurement methods, and contributing to the strategic sourcing process for Capex, Opex, Bulk Material & Services. Your duties will include vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract preparation, and order placement. Additionally, you will be involved in managing contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, and preparing reports on procurement activities. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) from user departments - Identify procurement methods based on material/services type, availability, and value - Participate in vendor selection, bid evaluation, and negotiations - Prepare contract documents and set up contract records within the ERP system - Manage vendor relationships and prepare regular MIS and SLA reports - Contribute to supplier performance evaluation and development planning - Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers/vendors for long-term benefits - Assist in data collation and analysis for procurement activities - Identify and mitigate procurement risks for assigned categories Qualifications: - Bachelor of Engineering (BE) preferably in Civil Engineering - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience - Minimum of 5 years" work experience in purchasing management or commodity management - Experience in eProcurement systems and tools (SAP, financial reporting tools, etc.) - Hands-on experience in executing contracts for Capital Goods projects - Knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement systems, and supplier relationship management If you possess a methodical and precise approach towards commercial and contractual execution, along with a thorough understanding of the purchasing process, we invite you to apply for this challenging role in our dynamic organization.,
