As a Procurement Specialist at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient supply of materials based on customer requirements while focusing on cost-efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. You will be part of a team that contributes to creating a more connected and caring world through sustainable energy solutions and infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Commodity strategies**: Implement strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials. - **Standardization**: Drive standardization initiatives to streamline procurement processes. - **Negotiations**: Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium Purchasing Volumes to achieve maximum savings. - **Savings and relevant KPI**: Generate, document, and implement savings, monitor relevant KPIs to contribute to business success. - **Supplier Management**: Support supplier management processes including qualification, selection, evaluation, and development to maintain high procurement quality. - **Customer Interface**: Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement in procurement processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Proven experience in procurement, negotiation, and supplier management. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
