Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for part localization, component development, commercial costing & negotiations, project management, handling new technology related to safety, regulations, CAF, EV parts, identifying alternate vendors in India and other countries (except China), conducting feasibility studies with vendors, discussing with SMC / MSIL EN for approvals, and aligning with Tier-1 vendors based on feasibility. You will also lead the development kick-off with vendors and approvals. Key Responsibilities: - Part localization - Component development - Commercial costing & negotiations - Project management - Handling new technology related to safety, regulations, CAF, EV parts - Identifying alternate vendors in India and other countries (except China) - Conducting feasibility studies with vendors on development timelines and commercial settlements - Discussing with SMC / MSIL EN for approvals and validation - Alignment with Tier-1 vendors based on feasibility - Leading development kick-off with vendors and approvals Qualifications Required: - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering - Vendor development experience - Process know-how of injection molding, casting, stamping, forging, etc.,
