As a Fashion Buyer at our company, you will play a crucial role in selecting and curating the products that we sell. Your responsibilities will include: - Product Selection: Choosing merchandise that aligns with our brand's identity and customer base, taking into consideration quality, style, and price. - Market Research: Keeping track of competitors" activities through market research to understand trends and forecast in terms of color, fabric, and more. - Vendor Management: Building rapport with vendors, identifying new vendors, and developing relationships. Having knowledge of major vendors across India is essential. - Trend Analysis: Researching and analyzing fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions. - Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize overstock, and avoid stockouts. - Sales Forecasting: Using sales data and market insights to forecast future buying needs and adjust inventory plans accordingly. - Sales Trend Responsibility: Taking responsibility for analyzing sales trends and making necessary adjustments. Qualifications for this role include: - Previous experience in Fashion Buying or Retail Management is preferred, ideally 2-5 years. - Bachelor's degree is preferred.
