The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in mechanical or metallurgical engineering with hands-on experience in various types of industrial valves. This role involves driving product design, tooling strategies, process improvements, and quality documentation in alignment with ISO standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of valves such as gate valves, butterfly valves, swing check valves, and air valves. Develop and approve valve prototypes/samples in coordination with cross-functional teams. Oversee tool design and implement optimized tool manufacturing methods . Maintain and control technical drawings , ensuring alignment with project and customer requirements. Drive compliance and maintenance of ISO documentation , standards, and audits. Provide technical support to production, quality, and sales teams when needed. Coordinate with vendors and customers for design validations and approvals. Mentor and guide junior design engineers to improve team capability. Required Qualifications: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering. Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant industry experience, with significant exposure to valve design and development. Preferred Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in gate valves, butterfly valves, swing check valves, and air valves. Key Skills: Strong understanding of valve design standards and manufacturing processes Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) Knowledge of tooling techniques , materials, and DFMEA Familiarity with ISO standards and documentation control Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities Effective communication and project management skills

Gather customer feedback and relay insights to R&D or product development teams for continuous improvement. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in control valve products and relevant industry applications. Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging customer needs and competitor strategies. Train channel partners, distributors, or sales agents (if applicable) on product knowledge and sales techniques. Monitor and optimize the sales process for greater efficiency and customer satisfaction. Represent the company in contract negotiations and pricing discussions when needed. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 10 years of experience in sales of control valves, preferably in a similar engineering role.
