Job description

· Prepare special meals or substitute items

· Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters

· Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator

· Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish

· Maintain food logs

· Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared

· Communicate assistance needed during busy periods

· Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials

· Inform Food Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items

· Ensure the quality of the food items

· Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

· Prepare cold foods

· Accountable for the loading, receiving and safe storage of inventory.

· Possess a thorough understanding of how to handle, defrost, prepare, and portion all cuts of meat.

· Complete tasks, and work efficiently and productively.

· Possess advanced knife handling skills

· Coordinate and supervise all personnel assigned to assigned section.

· Assign and delegate tasks.

· Conduct portion control reviews daily to ensure compliance.

· Control production levels.

· Recommend improvements and better cost control.

· Ensure that economical work practices are applied by subordinates, to avoid food waste.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹132,502.89 - ₹247,343.35 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
