Role Overview

Business Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Manage and optimize day-to-day business operations across functions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Lead vendor management, procurement operations, contract negotiations, and vendor performance evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance SOPs, operational workflows, and best practices.
  • Track operational KPIs, prepare regular dashboards/reports, and present insights to leadership.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support product development, delivery timelines, and organizational priorities.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage insurance operations (GHI/GPA), banking coordination (salary accounts, corporate cards, forex), and invoice processing.
  • Oversee facilities management including housekeeping, office maintenance, parking, building management coordination, and monthly payments.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring documentation, workspace readiness, and asset allocation/recovery.
  • Manage asset inventory, servicing, AMC tracking, and periodic reporting.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including visa processing, flight bookings, and forex requirements.
  • Facilitate visitor and client management along with internal events, townhalls, and engagement activities.

IT Administration

  • Oversee IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud services, and system configurations.
  • Manage IT assets, software licenses, admin consoles, and ensure compliance with IT/security standards.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, AMC, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, access control processes, and data protection protocols.
  • Handle IT ticketing, ensure timely issue resolution, and maintain SLAs.
  • Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Ensure business continuity planning, backup processes, and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6–10 years of experience in business operations and IT administration, preferably in a product-based or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity basics.
  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and operational policy development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, project management tools, ITSM platforms, and general productivity tools.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environments, multitask effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
